Protein Production Sweden (PPS) has now reached its second birthday: two years of successful operation and PPS is growing!
In 2023, the research infrastructure received a whopping 197 project applications, a 40% increase from the previous year. The number of principal investigators applying for projects increased to 137, representing a 30% growth. And that’s not all—PPS produced and delivered an impressive 324 batches of protein, marking a substantial 45% increase from 2022.
With a dedicated team of 28 researchers across five universities, PPS continues to make significant contributions to Swedish and international protein research.
